For this activity, the class was divided into groups and were asked to analyze Mr. Lacaba’s work titled “The First Quarter Storm was No Dinner Party”. Each group was then asked to present their analysis through either a rejection or acceptance letter addressed to Mr. Lacaba for their imaginary anthology. The decision for accepting or rejecting Mr. Lacaba’s work was to be based on the lecture given by Lee Gutkind on the structure of Creative Nonfiction.
